As a model I enjoy putting myself into someone else’s vision and making it a part of my own. When I was a child I would look at work of models I admired and it seemed…unattainable. I thought all models were born the glossy, mysterious, omniscient idols I would see in the magazine and runways. When I learned the hard work and dedication that was required I fell in love; not just with modeling; the fashion industry!

As model my aspiration is to be in sports illustrated. I love the beach (I give the credits to my roots). It comes so naturally to me! I intend to take what I’ve learned and pass it on the the next set of new faces. I want to be the example that stereotypes can (and should) be broken. You don’t have to be 6 ft to be tall. You don’t have to be a size 0 to be beautiful! Hard work and dedication is key!

1. How would you describe yourself?
I’m very open minded! Not very much surprises me and I love an good adventure. Try everything twice I always say…you don’t know if you were doing right the first time. =)
2. What trait do you like most about yourself?
I’m goal oriented. Once I set date or my mind to something I do everything in my power to make it the way I envisioned and I’m quite persistent!
3. What traits do you dislike most about yourself?
I can be too serious at times. When I feel the pressure I don’t balance lightheartedness well. I tip my hat to those who work well under pressure…I can but I prefer not to.
4. What do you do to stay in shape?
Eating properly makes the biggest difference for me. I love sweet things–especially chocolate–but the way you feel after filling up on junk is enough to keep me on the straight and narrow as far as my diet. You know that they say, too much of a good thing is a bad thing. I keep the fun stuff for special occasions.

5. What body part (s) do you find sexiest in a man?
Chest! I love a man with a broad chest…and strong shoulders…they kinda go together.
6. What do you look for in a guy?
I admire a man who can lead. Not just on the dance floor but more so in life. Graceful leadership is a quality to don’t find often. The man who can leads by example gets people to do the right things out of respect; not fear or “because I said so” that’s impressive to me!
7. What turns you off in a guy?
I can’t stand a lazy man. Have a dream that you’re working towards. Have goals. Stand for something and hold the excuses
8. What type of music do you listen to?
It depends on the mood! When I’m home relaxing I love blues (rythym & blues if you will) I’m talking Etta James, Ray Charles. If I’m getting ready for a night out its probably the weekend or edm.
9. What got you into modeling?

I love the beauty industry! I feel modeling should be an extension of the life you aspire to live. When you’re young you want to travel. Modeling gives you the opportunity to do so that you may not have at a regular job at 18 19 20 years old. As you progress you meet people of like mind and team up…work together and now you have mentors to teach you and help you to get where they already are. I intend to do many things while modeling. I’m enrolling in the Paul Mitchell beauty school this year and I look forward to working closely with photographers and models such as myself in a photo shoot setting as well as runway. I would also like to get into designing clothing. I grew up with a grandmother who sewed everything down to my nightgown so it is definitely a passion of mine!
